Exhibition of Yayoi Kusama and Other Contemporary Artists

Known even today by the nickname "queen of polka dots," Yayoi Kusama has garnered widespread popularity around the world for her works, leaving behind an impressive legacy in postwar-Japan art history. Due to their focus on themes such as world peace and human love, her works are beloved by people everywhere.
This exhibition centers on pieces by Kusama, one of Japan's leading avant-garde artists, while also showcasing works by Andy Warhol and other celebrated artists from around the world, including contemporaries of Kusama as well as artists from later generations. Showings and sales include pieces by street artists KAWS and Banksy, who have become popular in recent years, to round out this varied exhibition of contemporary art.
