Last year, we were enchanted by the high technical skills and aesthetic sense of "UNRYUAN and KIRYUSHA".
Works of art that are even more refined and overflowing with ambition will be displayed this year at Artglorieux, GINZA SIX.
Lacquer artist UNRYUAN Kitamura Tatsuo researched the sophisticated lacquer techniques of the Edo period, and then incorporated his very own techniques as well as contemporary expressions into his works of art. Kitamura’s numerous works of art that are born out of his high aspirations continue to enchant collectors of Japanese art all over the world.
The “KIRYUSHA” who compete under the guidance of Mr. Kitamura are held in high hopes as the young artists who will become the future of Japan’s traditional art.
This year’s exhibition will offer a brand-new feeling of excitement to our visitors.
It is our sincere hope that you come and view this exhibition.
