Exhibition: "Dali and 20th Century Art"
Feb. 27 (Wed.) to Mar. 6 (Wed.)

Salvador Dali is a Spanish-born artistic genius of the twentieth century.
Dali gained popularity through his surrealistic artwork, which depicts bizarre and mysterious worlds that could only be found in dreams or in our subconscious minds. Perhaps many people have seen Dali's painting of a melting clock that has been featured in art textbooks, or on TV programs where his art is often used.
Dali is also known as the artist who invented a form of artistic expression that combines multiple images into one painting, the descriptions of which are open to interpretation.
In his later years, Dali constantly pursued new ways to express himself artistically, such as by incorporating physics, religion and mathematics into his work.
This exhibition mainly focuses on Dali's engraved prints, but also features work from other artists who lived in his time such as Picasso and Chagall.
