Encounters with Time: Dual Exhibition of Mitsuru Koga and Takeshi Harada
Sep . 19 (Thu.) to Sep. 25 (Wed.)

Mitsuru Koga uses pencil to draw his main subjects—primarily small antique items—in the center of each page and utilizes the remaining space surrounding each as a form of expression.
Takeshi Harada, on the other hand, works with metals and focuses his themes on the worlds of insects, frogs, reptiles and other small creatures which he observed with deep interest as a child.
Both creators think back on the times when those motifs were parts of their lives, observing the memories they stir up.
Despite their differing expressive mediums, they both provide impactful insights into things that can only be formed with the passage of time—things imbued with nostalgia—and provide these for a contemporary world constantly obsessed with the new.
We hope you will come and view the works of these two young artists at the "Encounters with Time" exhibition.
