Belle Epoque: Junko Asano Solo Exhibition
Jan.9 (Thu.) to Jan.15 (Wed.)

Junko Asano utilizes nostalgic-feeling colors and motifs to express stories rooted in a wide range of memory fragments, taken from her childhood memories, changes in the townscape, and elsewhere.
Experience Asano's own charming, old-fashioned Belle Époque—the beautiful epoch—through depictions of worn walls and windows on old buildings, back alleys, and the like.
In addition, from December 1 to the end of January, Asano will take part in a collaborative project with a candy art shop originally from Spain, PAPABUBBLE (GINZA SIX shop), during which unusual but adorable characters created by the artist will be featured on hard candies sold in-store.
After viewing the gallery exhibition, be sure to stop by PAPABUBBLE on the B2 floor to see these candies for yourself!
