The Nekko-Neko Cat Exhibition features Japanese paintings (Nihonga), Western-style paintings, three-dimensional pieces and works in various other genres by approximately 30 artists, all taking cats (neko) as their central theme. Exhibition pieces even include first-time cat depictions by artists who normally don't use animals as subjects.
