Oil painter Kazuho Iwamoto depicts inimitable scenes, unique and narrative in nature like a single shot from a movie. They come across as nostalgic, despite being previously unknown to the viewer. 
A collection of her works was published this fall (in September) by Geijutsu Shinbunsha, featuring select pieces ranging from her earliest creations to her most famous. 
This exhibition, held to celebrate that publication, features 18 of Iwamoto's new works.
