Daisuke Inouetokita reinterprets the widely familiar yet ambiguous presence and nuances of the Japanese raccoon dog, or tanuki. He expresses it as his unique "TANVXI," which is a reflection the wishes and desires of the self and others. These TANVXI, which know no distinction between the other and the self, live in perpetuity without any suffering and ceaselessly explore while seeking out repose. This latest event features a greater number of works than any other solo exhibition in Inouetokita's recent history.
