Introducing the first duo calligraphy exhibition by the following two artists: Tairiku Teshima, a leading artist in the field of minimalist calligraphy who also serves as an honorary chairperson in the Dokuritsu Shojindan Foundation, an honorary advisor to the Sankei International Calligraphy Association, and head director of the Hikaru Museum; and Kinichi Shida, an entrepreneur who is also the chairperson and president of Shidax Corporation, an advisor to Japan for UNHCR (Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), and an advisor to the International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan. Calligraphy is an art form requiring incredibly high levels of mental focus and concentration, and a methodology that gives expression to the very fundamentals of our world. We encourage you to experience for yourself the extremes of expression conveyed through the artistic world of minimalist calligraphy.
