Is the reality which we all perceive actually something real and definite?
The passage of time, shifting perspectives and emotional fluctuations can cause the boundaries of this reality to blur and become uncertain as they melt into one another, creating uncertainty about whether those things we see are the truth or whether they are hallucinations conjured from the very depths of our minds.
This exhibition focuses on that uncertainty: dichotomies of light and shadow, digital and analog, systematic order and coincidence, silence and uproar—all opposing elements which intertwine to create new visual experiences.
Forms vacillate in the space between the abstract and the concrete, colors reconstruct fragments of our actual world, and qualities change with the passage of time.
The human mind pines for things definite and certain; these works of art betray that desire in pleasantly surprising ways, inviting viewers to explore new territory.
Blurred Realities: Ephemeral Boundaries shakes us free from stubborn mindsets and perspectives, presenting a plethora of new possibilities that lie somewhere between the real and the fantastical.
We urge you come and experience for yourself the instant that a new reality is born within the perceptions and memories of your mind as viewer.
