Lives are born anew, ultimately come to an end, and also give rise to new life. Within this cycle, these give rise to moments which in and of themselves are beautiful. My works for the "Intertwined Lives" exhibition center on female subjects and feature flowers, small creatures, and even tiny human figures at times. As you view them, I hope you can sense the overlapping of lives and vitality which quietly pervade the various aspects of our everyday lives. — Arisa Yamamoto
