Sometimes I think to myself: why do I write essays, poetry, novels and the like? It's probably because I can't find the right words otherwise—words like happy, truly, fondness, cherished, gratitude, unforgivable. When those seem close to how I'm feeling yet still so far away—somehow not the right fit—there's nothing left to do but let one's amind wander aimlessly. Well, actually...no. There are apparently as many ways forward as there are people. (Ban Obara)
